Natural Home Remedies for prostate disorder

NATURAL HOME REMEDIES FOR PROSTATE DISORDER

Enlarged Prostate, Prostatitis : A large % of men over 50 years of age suffer from prostate troubles of one form or other. The prostate gland is a male gland, comparable in shape and size to a large chestnut
It is situated at the base of the urinary bladder and around the commencement of the urethra. There are various types of prostate disorders, the more important being hypertrophy or enlargement of the prostate gland, and prostatitis or inflammation in the prostate gland.

Causes and symptoms:

2 warning signals to indicate the possibility of prostate disorder:

1) Interference with the passage of urine
2) Urine frequently during the night's sleep.

Other symptoms are :
  • A dull aching pain in the lower back
  • pain in the hips, legs and feet
The position of the prostate gland makes it liable to congestion and other disorders.
  • In the erect position, pressure falls on the pelvic region just where the prostate gland is situated.
  • With ageing, the body gets heavier and loses its flexibility.
  • This puts greater pressure on the pelvis and increases the vulnerability of the prostate gland.
  • Prolonged period of setting as in certain occupations, also increase the pressure on the pelvic region, resulting in congestion of the tissues around the prostate gland.
  • Acute prostatitis may also results from exposure to cold and chill and from infectious diseases.Another important cause of prostate disorders is constipation, when the feaces become hardened and the rectum or lower bowel is overloaded, causing undue pressure on the prostate gland

Remedies:

Persons beyond the age of 50, who have signs of prostate trouble, or those who suffer from urinary disorders of some kind, namely, burning or difficulty in passing urine freely, should take 60 - 90 grams of pumpkin seeds per day. The seeds can be taken in the form of powder sprinkled over cooked vegetables or mixed with wheat flour to make chapatis. They can also be taken in the form of paste made with honey, or as a drink mixed with diluted milk and sugar to taste.

Vegetable Juices:
The use of vegetable juices has been found beneficial in the treatment of prostate problems, including prostate enlargement. The juice of carrots, taken separately in a 500 ml quantity or in combination with spinach juice. is specially valuable. In case of combined juices, 200 ml of spinach juice should be mixed with 300 ml of carrot juice to prepare 500 ml or half a liter of combined juices.

Zinc:
The use of zinc has been found valuable in cases of prostate disorders. About 30 mg of this mineral should be taken daily in the treatment of these diseases.

Vitamin E :
Vitamin E has proved to be an important factor for prostate health.  The person should therefore take 600 IU of this vitamin daily.

The person should practice a healthy lifestyle. Avoid sexual excess, irregularities in eating and drinking, long period of  sitting and vigorous exercise. All efforts should be made to tone up the general health of the body.

Prevent Low Blood Pressure by Having Positive Thinking

PREVENT LOW BLOOD PRESSURE BY HAVING POSITIVE THINKING

Hypotension : Low blood pressure or hypotention refers to the fall in blood pressure below normal. Is is a condition in which the action of the heart, in forcing the blood through the arteries is weak. This is a direct outcome of a weakened and devitalized system.

CAUSES AND SYMPTOMS:

The person with chronic low blood pressure may complain of:

Lethargy, weakness, fatique and dizziness
The person may also faint, especially if arterial pressure is lowered further when he assumes an erect position. These symptoms are presumably due to a decrease in perfusion of blood to the brain, heart, skeletal muscle and other organs.

The other most important cause of low blood pressure is faulty nutrition. It makes the tissues forming the walls of the blood vessels over-relaxed and flabby or stretched. This results in less supply of oxygen and nutrients to the tissues. Malnutrition can result from a diet deficient in calories, proteins, vitamin C or almost any one of the B vitamins.

Sometimes the blood pressure falls rapidly because of loss of blood. Low blood pressure may also develop gradually because of slow bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract, kidneys or bladder. Emotional problems are a far more frequent cause of low blood pressure. To a lesser degree, prolonged disappointment and frustration may result in a subnormal blood pressure. So, HAVE A POSITIVE THINKING AND BE HAPPY.

REMEDIES:

1) BEETROOT: The juice of beetroot is one of the most effective remedies for low blood pressure. The person should drink a cup of this juice twice daily for treating this condition. Considerable improvement will be noticeable within a week.

2) EPSOM SALTS BATH
This bath should be taken just before retiring to bed and care should be exercised not to catch a chill afterwards.

NUTRIENTS: Proteins (ESP), Vitamin C and all vitamins of the B group have been found beneficial in the prevention and treatment of low blood pressure. Liberal use of this vitamin alone often helps in raising the blood pressure.

All living habits which tend to enervate the system, such as overwork, excesses of all kinds, needless worry and negative thinking must be eliminated as far a possible.

BE HAPPY AND LETS ORDER:

Low blood sugar is a disorder of blood sugar metabolism

LOW BLOOD SUGAR IS A DISORDER OF BLOOD SUGAR METABOLISM

Hypoglycemia : Low blood sugar or hypoglycemia is a disorder of blood sugar metabolism.

Caused and the symptoms:

A craving for sweets and starch is excessive amounts between meals is the first sign of a low blood sugar level. When the blood sugar level falls much below normal, symptoms such:
  • nervousness
  • irritability
  • fatigue
  • depression
  • disturbed vision
  • headaches
  • sweating
  • trembling
  • numbness
  • numbness
  • absentmindedness
  • dizziness
  • palpitations of the heart
  • some sexual disturbance

Most people with low blood sugar feel hungry and eat frequently to get over the feeling of weakness and emotional irritability. They feel tense if they have to go without food for several hours.

Low blood sugar can compound into an emergency condition. In such and eventuality, medical help should be sought immediately. However, when the person experiences any symptoms that indicate a fall in blood sugar, he should immediately take a heaped teaspoon of sugar and then seek medical help.

Low blood sugar is usually caused by:

  • excessive intake of refined carbohydrates and sugary food - cause the pancreas, the adrenal glands and the liver to lose their ability to handle sugar properly
  • tumor
  • disturbed functioning of the liver, pituitary glands, or adrenal glands
  • Stress

Remedies:

- Ideal diet should be based on three basic food groups (main group) :
  • grains, seeds and nuts
  • vegetables and fruits
- Supplemented by :
  • milk and milk products
  • vegetable oils
Seeds and nut should be taken in a raw form and grains in the form of cereals, should be cooked. Cooked grains are digested slowly and release sugar into the blood gradually, six to eight hours after meals. This will keep the blood sugar normal and constant for long period.
Persons suffering from a low blood sugar should take six to eight meals a day instead of two or three large meals. Eating raw nuts and seeds such as pumpkin or sunflower seeds, or drinking milk, buttermilk or fruit juices between meals will be beneficial.

All refined and processed foods, white sugar, white floor and all their by-products should be completely eliminated from the diet. Coffee, alcohol and soft drinks should also be avoided. The consumption of salt should be reduced as an excessive intake of salt causes loss of blood potassium which causes blood sugar to drop

- Vitamins: Certain vitamins have been found effective in the treatment of low blood sugar. These are vitamin C, E and B complex.
Vitamin C and B increase tolerance of sugar and carbohydrate and help normalize sugar metabolism. Vitamin B6 help to build up adrenals which are generally exhausted in persons with low blood sugar. Vitamin E improves glycogen storage in the muscles and tissues. The person should take vitamin C in large doses from 2000 to 5000mg, B6 - 50 mg, and vitamin E up to 1600 IU daily

Proper rest is essential for those suffering from low blood sugar. A tranquil mind is of utmost importance in this condition. Nervous strain and anxiety should be relieved.

Take care of yourselves and avoid Low Blood sugar

How to avoid varicose veins as I wanna continue to wear skirts

HOW TO AVOID VARICOSE VEINS AS I WANNA CONTINUE TO WEAR SKIRTS????

Dilated Swollen Veins : Veins are thin-walled vessels through which the impure blood is carried back to the heart. They actually have valves which regulate the flow of blood towards the heart. Varicose veins are a condition in which veins become enlarged, dilated, or thickened. This condition can occur in any part of the body but generally appear in the leg.

Well, for those who likes to wear short skirts, this will not look good and this make our legs look old.

CAUSES AND SYMPTOMS:

The first sign of varicose veins is swelling along the course of the veins. This may be followed by muscular cramps and a felling of tiredness in the leg behind the knees. in some cases, the normal flow of blood towards the heart may be reversed when the person is in an upright position. This results in venous blood collecting in the lower part of the legs; the skin becomes purplish and pigmented, leading to what is known as varicose eczema or varicose ulcers. Both these conditions cause severe pains.

A varicose condition of the veins results from sluggish circulation due to various factors such as:
  • constipation
  • dietetic errors
  • lack of exercise
  • smoking
  • standing for long hours
  • wearing tight clothing
  • pregnancy due to increased pressure int he pelvic and abdomen, which slows down the flow of blood from the lower extremities to the heart.
  • early years of child bearing
  • obesity

Remedies:

There are many home remedies that can help prevent varicose veins.

A proper method must be know to prepare the home remedies and it can also take your busy time off to prepare it. Hence, these are also some supplements/nutrients that can be taken as follows:
